Established Atlanta headquartered company is seeking a “hands-on” Controller to join their team due to continued growth..

This position will lead the accounting team of 4 – 5 and will report directly to the CFO.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage the month end close process
• Prepare monthly and annual external and internal financial reporting and analysis
• Manage and mentor the general accounting team
• Oversee Inventory transactions
• Develop and maintain financial controls
• Direct accounting policies and procedures
• Special projects as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. CPA and/or MBA a plus
• Minimum 10 years accounting experience to include a mix of public audit experience and corporate accounting experience.
• Excellent leadership skills. Must have managed a staff of at least 2-4 professionals.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Should have a strong background in financial statement preparation and analysis, cash flow management, general ledger accounting and inventory management
• System implementation experience a plus
